Example: They were pretty articulate in their presentation. I would said, they have good chances of getting this project.
The above sentence explains how the ability of a fluent presentation could reward the person with the project.
2. Affable (Adjective)
Even though not so popular on the letter A list of many, it is one solid adjective that people should start using. It perfectly replaces the word “friendly.” Agreeable, amiable, genial, cordial, charming, etc. are some other synonyms of the word affable.
Example: My wife is a joyous and affable companion.

3. Ameliorate (Verb)

5. Agathist (Noun)
Many of you will read this word for the first time will surely fall in love with its meaning. An Agathist is a person who believes that no matter what, everything will ultimately lead to good. 6. Adroit
A clever or skillful person can take the adjective adroitly. Such a person is a fast thinker and fast in their actions too. Adept, masterful, brilliant, nimble, capable, competent, etc. are other words for adroit.
Example: My ex-secretary was adroit at such managerial skills, unlike my current secretary who is a fresher.
7. Accord (Verb)
The word accord is amongst those words from the solid letter A list that you can use in two ways. One meaning of the word is to give or grant someone recognition or power. Another purpose of the word is to be in harmony or consistent with someone. Correspond, agree, concur, etc. are some other words that match with the latter meaning.

8. Aubade (Noun)
Any reading or writing fans here? This word could become a part of your newt poetic piece. Aubade is a word that describes the early hours of the day, typically, dawn/sunrise. It could also refer to a piece of music, but also appropriate or referring to sunrise.

9. Avow (Verb)
This word from the letter A family holds a lot of significance to those who usually do not fear to speak their opinions or choices. Avow means to Assert or confess something openly. In today’s day, the word can come in handy in many situations. It is a perfect substitute for “I already told you” or “declare.”

10. Altruistic (Adjective)
Most often, we find ourselves complaining about some people who are NOT altruistic. The adjective speaks about a selfless, considerate, and compassionate person. Some other synonyms of the word include charitable, unstinting, kind, noble, etc. Sure, these synonyms are very common. Why not use altruistic instead?
Example: The performance by the pop-singer tonight was an altruistic one. She will donate all funds to the flood victims.
